Tell your story

Stories have power. By externalizing your story, you are claiming ownership of your power to determine the course of your life. Your experience does NOT have to define who you are. You can’t change what happened to you, but you can control how you react. Sexual assault is about power.  Its about an attacker’s attempt to assert their power over another human being. By taking ownership of your story, you are taking the first step in taking that power back from the person who tried to steal it from you.
