Hey everyone, I hope all of you are doing well.

I’m thinking of coming back to volunteer more, seeing as though I’ve actually been doing pretty well. I start a new job on Monday, and will be setting up therapy after I get myself all situated and in a new routine.

I’m really hoping and praying I won’t screw this job up, so please wish me luck and I look forward to helping out again.

    Hi Jamie Marie,

I hope that the new job has been going well since you started. There is always a learning curve for the first few months of any new job, so hang in there even if you have a rough day here or there. I think that you have a great plan for yourself to take one step at a time in getting your new job set up and feeling comfortable with it and then focusing on adding in the therapy and volunteering. Looking forward to hearing more from you soon!

Excited to have you come back, Jamie!

I’m happy to hear that you are going to be volunteering again. Starting therapy and a new job are positives to be proud of. I’m sure you will rock both. Try not to worry too much. If you need some coping skills to help you through stress or anxiety attacks, I would recommend trying a breathing exercise (breathe in through your nose to the count of 4, hold breath to the count of 6, breathe out through mouth to the count of 8). It’s helped me the most because it’s a technique I can do anywhere without anyone noticing.

Anyway, I hope you’re enjoying your weekend. Have a great day, and we hope to hear from you again soon. ☮️

That sounds so great! It’s nice to get back into a routine, oftentimes this helps to regulate our emotions. Getting back into therapy is so great.
