Hey everyone, it’s Jamie again.
I had my second session with my new female therapist today who specializes in trauma counseling.
Before we get to talk about what happened, today we went through a breathing exercise that allows me to balance my panic attacks/flashbacks. In order for me to talk about the rape, I have to be calm and in a relaxed state of mind, so I have to practice this 9x’s a day for the next two weeks until my next appointment.
I feel I’ll be okay, seeing as those I’m taking slow, but necessary steps, to reclaiming my life back. It also helps knowing i have you guys to lean on, and a certain friend of mine in my corner.
