The Advocates provide a safe place for people affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking in Blaine, Camas, Custer, and Lincoln Counties in Central rural Idaho. Every year, we offer shelter and support to hundreds of clients and their children, and we serve thousands more through education and outreach. The Advocates purpose is to create a compassionate community, free from emotional and physical abuse. To reach our goal, we teach people of all ages how to build and maintain healthy, positive relationships with peers and partners. We accomplish this through education, shelter, resources, and support.

Founded in 1991, The Advocates offer a wide variety of services, such as case management advocacy, life skills training, housing, legal assistance, safety planning to and more, we strive to give people access to resources to change their lives and reach their potential, leaving abuse behind. Prevention education staff teach people of all ages how to build and maintain healthy relationships through workshops on communication, bystander intervention, consent and more.
