Are you a college student who wants to support survivors of sexual violence on your campus? Become an AVFTI College Ambassador.

WHAT DO OUR COLLEGE AMBASSADORS DO?

EVENTS

Tabling or setting up other events on your campus to help students see our presence there and learn about the organization

PROMOTE

Hang posters and hand out flyers to help students know where they can find help if they have experienced sexual violence

CONNECT

Connect AVFTI with other college leaders, clubs, groups, or administrators to help make AVFTI part of the campus culture

THE COMMITMENT

1

Register with your campus

If it hasn’t been done at your campus already, our ambassadors register AVFTI as a student organization on their campus.

2

Set up events

We ask our ambassadors to work one event per month on campus. This can be setting up your own event or tabling and representing AVFTI at an existing event.

3

Spread the word

Hang posters, hand out flyers, lead discussions, forward AVFTI College Newsletters, or any way you can find to connect survivors with our platform and services.

4

Continue your training

Complete any online-training we provide.

OTHER OPPORTUNITIES

Want to be involved beyond promoting AVFTI on your campus?

Write

We often have opportunities for our ambassadors to write articles and express your own thoughts/opinions to have them published on our site.

Represent Locally

We sponsor lots of music tours and other events, and have opportunities for you to work an AVFTI table when an event takes place or a tour stops in your city.

Join the Volunteer Team

Our volunteers respond to stories on our site and give direct support to our storytellers. Learn more here.
